Michael Savage, (the radio name for Michael W....r, PHD) has been blacklisted for travel to the UK by a PC- addled British Home Office functionary Jacqui Smith.... 

For the benefit of my UK friends, Michael Savage is a 19^th century humanist, a full throated warrior in the 21^st century culture wars, the intellectual who first coined the term “IslamoFascist” (a term adopted by many others without credit) to describe the virulent subset of Islamist ideologues whose anti-Semitic agenda chillingly reprises that of Hitler. 

His tone varies from avuncular story teller all the way to the realm of a white-hot tempered Jeremiad.  He has made talk show rhetoric an art form.  He is almost never boring, sometimes over-the-top, rarely less than full-on intelligent. But Savage is an acquired taste, like that sharp aperitif that might later require an anti-acid. 

All said, he is a national treasure and as harmless as your favorite cranky uncle, the kind of guy that would rant at the homeless druggie on the corner, then buy him a breakfast somewhere.

The travel ban is a transparent sop to the Islamist fringe, of a piece with the airport frisking of a ninety year old matron (See how even handed we are!).  This action is an embarrassment to the UK. 

Be ashamed of your Home office.
